Is spotLagos free to use?

Yes. No account required to browse, no ads, no tracking. Some places and events are free; others (like restaurants and malls) are regular businesses worth knowing about.

Where do the places come from?

Live from Google Maps. We query it every time you search, so listings stay up to date.

Why don't I see many places near me?

spotLagos is currently focused on Lagos, Nigeria. Try widening your search radius or check back later.

What kinds of places can I find?

Parks, playgrounds, sports facilities, libraries, community centres, restaurants, shopping malls and more — all in Lagos.

Can I add an event?

Yes — anyone can submit one, as long as it's in Lagos. It'll go live after a quick review.

Do you store my location?

Only in your own browser (localStorage), so you don't have to enter it every visit. It never leaves your device.

Something is wrong with a listing. Now what?

For a place: listings come from Google Maps, so updates should be made there. For events: contact us and we'll take a look.
